Titan Laser

The Titan Laser Facelift in Southern California

A conventional facelift will remove excess skin, pulling the remaining skin tautly over the bone and tissue structures of the face and other areas. Unfortunately, a facelift does not change or affect the tissue structures that caused the skin to expand, wrinkle and sag in the first place. The Titan™ treatment uses infrared light energy to target the dermis (the layer of tissue below the skin) where collagen forms directly beneath the surface layer of the epidermis (the outer skin layer). Titan™ treatments trigger new collagen growth while causing existing collagen to tighten and firm. Titan™ treatments are not limited to facial rejuvenation and can be applied to other areas of the body as approved by your medical expert.

Titan™ treatments begin by cooling the skin's surface. This protects the epidermis and reduces any discomfort. Once the outer layer of skin is cooled, the Titan™ targets the deeper layers of the dermis where collagen is formed. During this part of the process, the Titan's™ infrared light based skin tightening system heats existing collagen causing the strands to constrict their coils and in turn triggers the body's natural production of new collagen. The Titan™ hand piece continues to cool the outer layer of skin protecting the epidermis from any damage. The sustained growth of new collagen can continue for months after treatment tightening drooping skin of the jowls and cheekbones, reducing lines and wrinkles, filling marionette lines, contracting sagging skin of the stomach and arms.

Titan™ treatments are superior to other non-surgical facelifts because the infrared heating produces a uniform effect so the results are even and smooth. The Titan™ is also beneficial for all skin types, tones and textures because it targets the dermis and not the epidermis. In some cases, one treatment can produce an effective result, but up to three treatments might be necessary to achieve the final result you desire.
