Case 1845 - These before and after pictures are our own Natalie Barsegian, 21, who is Assistant to Charlie Sheridan, Director. Natalie has a filming date coming up and wanted a sexier, fuller pout. She received one Juvederm syringe injected into her upper and lower lips by Carla Crespo, PA-C. Case 1846 - Three syringes of Juvéderm were placed into furrow between eyebrows, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips and corners of mouth. Patient was re-entering the work force, and wanted to remain fresh and competitive in the Real Estate market. After her Juvéderm treatment, she felt and looked better instantly and was ready to take on the business world again. Case 1847 - Diane, 46, had Juvederm placed into her lips, naso labial folds, and cheeks. Case 1906 - 51 y/o female dislikes thinning, aging hands. Thinks they look older than she feels! This patient had 2 syringes of Radiesse injected per hand. After photo taken 1 week after injection. Case 1937 - This 44-year-old woman began her consultation with her Beverly Hills area plastic surgeon at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates exclaiming, "I'm tired of looking tired!" She felt that large, dark circles under her eyes made them look hollowed and baggy. After being told for some time by those around her that she looked constantly tired or unhappy, this woman decided to find out whether there was a treatment that could help her look more awake and refreshed. Based on her surgeon's recommendation, this woman selected Restylane® injectable filler to smooth out her tear troughs. The Perlane treatment has "plumped up" her earlobes so they can now more hold her earrings more attractively. Case 1940 - This 59-year-old woman was about to turn 60 and wanted to treat herself to a facial rejuvenation procedure. She met with a Beverly Hills area plastic surgeon at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to discuss her goals of looking more positive and refreshed by reducing the "crow's feet" around her eyes and fine lines between her eyebrows. She admitted that she did not want to look tired and sad anymore, especially as she neared her birthday. During their consultation, this woman and her surgeon decided that a combination of BOTOX® Cosmetic, Perlane™, and Restylane® injectable treatments would create the changes she most wanted to see. BOTOX works by relaxing specific facial muscles so they do not contract, and in the process helps smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles that appear with repeated facial expressions. Case 2001 - Pt. was unhappy with the size of her lips wanted fuller lips that still looked natural. Juvederm Ultra Plus was injected in lips. Case 2005 - This 60 year old woman came to Marina Plastic Surgery concerned about a scar on her upper lip. The scar was due to an injury she had suffered as a teenager, and she had been self-conscious about it ever since. She was hoping that a nonsurgical treatment could improve the appearance of the scar. She also wanted to learn more about nonsurgical procedures for correcting wrinkles and improving her skin texture. After performing a careful evaluation of her areas of concern, a custom cosmetic plan using injectables and laser skin rejuvenation was developed. The scar was corrected through the use of JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel, which was also used to give the lips a plumper appearance. Case 2006 - This patient had been bothered by the bump and uneven texture of her nose for many years. While a surgical rhinoplasty procedure could have corrected her cosmetic concern, she knew that injectable dermal fillers also can be used to provide temporary correction. She came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates hoping to improve the appearance of the bump on her nose all in one visit. The bump can be seen most clearly in the profile view "before" picture. Because the bump was caused by a depression rather than bone that was projecting from the bridge of her nose, she was a perfect candidate for an "injectable nose job." We injected RADIESSE® filler to smooth out the unevenness, and she had a much more satisfying appearance in only minutes! The "after" pictures displayed here were taken immediately following her treatment. The slight redness of the skin is temporary and will disappear for most patients in less than a day. While using a dermal filler to revise the appearance of the nose does not create a permanent solution, our Los Angeles skin care patients can feel confident that their new look will last about 3 to 4 months before a touch up treatment is required.

Laser Skin Resurfacing Troubled by a noticeably uneven skin tone, a large white spot on her cheek, and fine lines around her eyes and mouth, this 64-year-old woman sought the advice of a Beverly Hills area plastic surgeon specializing in natural looking solutions. She contacted the offices of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates and met with her surgeon to discuss her goals. After evaluating her options she decided that "Pearl" laser treatment could help to even her pigment and smooth the age lines she disliked. Over time, undesirable signs of aging such as lines and wrinkles can make the face appear old. Sun damage is also a typical problem that can negatively affect facial coloring.
